Sedelsberg ( Sater Frisian Seedelsbierich ) is a district of the municipality of Saterland in the district of Cloppenburg in Lower Saxony .
geography
The village is east of the B 72 and north of the coastal channel . The Cloppenburg – Ocholt railway runs through the town. The northern neighbor is Scharrel , the southern neighbor is Neuscharrel .
history
Sedelsberg belonged to the Scharrel peasantry in the 1850s and had 79 inhabitants.
Incorporations
As a result of the regional reform, Sedelsberg was spun off from the community of Scharrel on March 1, 1974 and merged as a separate district with Ramsloh, Scharrel and Strücklingen to form the community of Saterland.
