Seefeld (Thun)

The Seefeld is a small residential area and power area of the city of Thun . It is limited to the west by Frutigenstrasse, to the east by the railway facilities of Thun train station and to the south by the former municipal border Thun / Strättligen .

The quarter is also home to a number of educational institutions. In addition to kindergarten, primary and day school, there is a grammar school with a technical secondary school as well as a business school and a vocational training center.

The area of today's Seefeld district was bought as Spitalmatte by the Thun construction company in 1872.
