Seiji Miyaguchi
Seiji Miyaguchi ( Japanese 宮 口 精 二 , Miyaguchi Seiji ; born November 15, 1913 in Tokyo , Japan ; † April 12, 1985 ) was a Japanese actor.
Life
Seiji Miyaguchi was best known in the West through the films of Akira Kurosawa . His most famous role was that of the silent sword master Kyūzō, who was one of the seven samurai in the film The Seven Samurai . From the mid-1940s to the end, he was seen in more than 100 film and television productions.
He died of lung cancer in 1985.
