The Selena (Ukrainian Зелена ) is a left tributary of the Inhulez in the center of Ukraine of 30 km in length.

The river has its source near the village of Selenyj Haj (Ukrainian Зелений Гай ) in Oleksandrija district in Kirovohrad Oblast and then flows parallel to the Shovta, which flows about 10 km further east, to the south into Petrowe district , through the villages of Selene , Jossypiwka and Oleksandro -Marjiwka (part of the municipality of Kosazke ) to flow into the Inhulez, which is dammed up to the Iskriwka reservoir after 30 kilometers . The valley of the Selena is an average of 520 m wide and the river an average of 1.5–2 m deep.
