Seligeria carniolica is a species of moss of the order Grimmiales .
features
The plants are only a few millimeters high and brownish. The lower leaves are small and lanceolate, the upper ones drawn out into a long awl.
The seta is thick and reddish, the capsule is hemispherical. Its lid is lifted up through the columella .
distribution
The species occurs in the Alps and Gotland . In Germany it was only detected once in the Allgäu . It grows on damp limestone rocks.
