Selve Marcone is a fraction of the Italian commune ( comune ) Pettinengo in the province of Biella (BI), Piedmont region .
geography
The place is about 7 km northeast of the provincial capital Biella at an altitude of 750 m slm between the Valle Cervo and the eastern Valle di Mosso.
history
Until 2016, Selve Marcone was an independent municipality. The area of the former municipality of Selve Marcone covers an area of 2 km² with 93 inhabitants at last (as of December 31, 2016). The neighboring communities were Andorno Micca , Callabiana , Piedicavallo , Rassa and Tavigliano .
Selve Marcone has been part of the Pettinengo municipality since 2017 .
