Semen Braude
Semen Jakowytsch Braude ( Ukrainian Семен Якович Брауде ; born January 20, 1911 in Poltava , † June 29, 2003 in Kharkiv ) was a Ukrainian physicist and radio astronomer .
In 1969 he became a member of the Academy of Sciences of the Ukrainian SSR . In 2006 the asteroid (18119) Braude was named after him. The International Astronomical Union (IAU) named the lunar crater Braude after him in 2009 .
