Semra Ilhan

Semra Ilhan (born August 2, 1978 in Berlin ) is a former German basketball player .

career

Ilhan comes from the youth work of TuS Neukölln . She made the leap into the German junior national team. In the 1996/97 season the player started playing with City Basket Berlin in the 1st women's basketball division , and in 1997/98 she played in the same league at VfL Bochum . In 1998 she moved within the Bundesliga to BC Marburg and stayed with the Hessians until the end of the 2000/01 season. In 1999 and 2001 she took third place with Marburg in the Bundesliga. Then she played for the second division TSV Hagen. In the 2003/04 season, Ilhan was part of the roster of Brandon University in the Canadian province of Manitoba and was there with 13.1 points per encounter top performers. 2006/07 she ran for another Canadian university, Acadia University in the province of Nova Scotia . There she achieved 12.2 points per use.

As a trainer, she looked after the U19 boys from Central Hoops Berlin in the youth basketball league , after taking over the license from DBV Charlottenburg in 2011, she continued working there and also looked after the Charlottenburg regional league men. In the 2016/17 season she led the men of the Tiergarten ISC to win the championship title in the 2nd regional league. In the 2017/18 season, Ilhan, who works full-time in the management of the Deutsches Theater Berlin , coached the women of the Weddinger Wiesel club in the regional league.
