The gymnastics and sports club Neukölln is a club founded in 1865 in Berlin-Neukölln . It has 21 departments for 18 sports. The association has around 1200 members.

Sports offered include gymnastics , gymnastics , aerobics , fitness , wheel gymnastics , water sports , disabled sports , children's gymnastics, girls gymnastics, gymnastics (dance), sports bowling , track and field , triathlon , handball , Fistball , basketball and volleyball .

Departments

Handball

The handball department had over 320 members in 21 teams in 2013/2014. The adult teams play as HSG Neukölln Berlin in a syndicate with the neighboring TSC Berlin 1893 eV The first women's team plays in the handball league Ostsee-Spree (4th division).

The youth sector has grown from 3 to 15 teams. All age groups are occupied.

Triathlon

About 85 members are active in the triathlon department of TuS Neukölln. The women start in the 1st Bundesliga, the men in the 2nd Bundesliga. In the Regionalliga Ost, the club maintains a women's, a men's and a master team. The women's team starts under the name of the sponsor as the Vivimed team .

basketball

The basketball department was founded on March 3, 1975 and started with 44 members. As of January 1, 2011, 235 members in all age groups were registered. In the 2008/09 season, the male over 55s and the male U16s became German runners-up. The Heimhalle is located in the Albert Schweitzer School (Berlin-Neukölln) . In their youth, u. a. also later German national players like Mithat Demirel or Jan Jagla . In addition, the Bundesliga player Semra Ilhan ( BC Marburg ) began her career in the club.
