The Suchá Hora transmitter (literally “dry mountain”) is a transmitter in Slovakia, west of Banská Bystrica , in the Kremnick Mountains . It is located on the 1231  m nm high Skalka . The 312 meter high transmission mast in tubular steel construction is used to broadcast VHF and television programs and is one of the tallest structures in Slovakia.
