The Kosztowy transmission mast (RTCN Katowice / Kosztowy) is a 355 meter high transmission mast in the Polish Silesian Voivodeship . It is used to broadcast FM and television programs . The cable-braced steel frame mast erected in 1976 is named after the Kosztowy district in Mysłowice .

Trivia

This transmission mast is the second tallest structure in Poland after the collapse of the Radio Warsaw transmission mast in Konstantynów . Contrary to the name, the transmitter mast is not in the Kosztowy district , but in the Wesoła district at ul. Orła Białego 34, 41-400 Mysłowice.
