The Esslingen (Zollberg) transmitter is a filling transmitter for radio . It is located on the Zollberg in the district of the same name, about two kilometers south of Esslingen city center. A free-standing reinforced concrete mast is used as an antenna carrier .
From here, the city of Esslingen and the surrounding area are supplied with the FM radio programs Deutschlandfunk and Die Neue 107.7 .
Until the introduction of DVB-T , the television programs Das Erste , ZDF and SWR Fernsehen were broadcast analogue terrestrial .
