Transmitter Laufenburg AG

Coordinates: 47 ° 33 ′ 20 "  N , 8 ° 4 ′ 7"  E ; CH1903:  647 418  /  267395 The transmitter Laufenburg AG is a transmitter of the SWR (formerly the Südwestfunks ) for broadcasting of radio and television signals. It is located on the Heuberg south of the Swiss town of Laufenburg AG . A free-standing concrete tower is used as the antenna carrier.

From here the town of Laufenburg in Baden is supplied with VHF radio.

From 1953 to around 1970, the Südwestfunk operated a transmitter in Hochsal called the Hochrheinsender as a filling transmitter for VHF radio . This transmitter was replaced by the transmitter Laufenburg AG.
