Raeren-Petergensfeld transmitter

The transmitter Raeren-Petergensfeld is located in the Raeren district of Petergensfeld , Belgium near the German border near Roetgen . The tower height is 90 m and the site height is 451 m. The transmitter is currently used exclusively for VHF transmission, but is also intended for DVB-T . Because of the favorable location and the transmission power of 20 kW, the radio program 100'5 Das Hitradio is easy to receive in the Euregio Meuse-Rhine and beyond.

Between February 2008 and March 10, 2014 the Belgian Broadcasting Company broadcast its BRF2 program on the frequency 105.9 MHz with 5 kW power. On December 17, 2014, the frequency was reactivated with power reduced to 100 watts.

Until the Fantasy Dance FM program was discontinued on February 26, 2020, it was broadcast via the transmitter on the frequency 96.7 MHz with 1.5 kW.

The ON0RBO amateur radio relay is also located on the mast . The output frequency is 438.725 MHz.
