The Sentry Rocks (from the English loosely translated sentinel rocks ) are two high and steep cliff rocks in front of the Pennell Coast of the East Antarctic Victoria Land . In the entrance to Yule Bay they are right in front of Cape Dayman .
The United States Geological Survey mapped them based on their own surveys and aerial photographs of the United States Navy from 1960 to 1963. The Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names named them descriptively in 1970 after their appearance.
