The Serb is a peak in the Serb region of the same name in British Columbia in Canada .
The 2317 m high glaciated mountain is located in the Bulkley Ranges , a mountain range of the Hazelton Mountains . It is very steep on all sides, so that even from the simplest starting point, the Serb Creek or Milk Creek , the ascent is very difficult. The unofficial name of the summit goes back to the Serb brook , which rises from the northern slope of the mountain, whose name in turn goes back to the Serbs .
location
Serb is the highest point of a mountain range north of the Telkwa Pass . The next higher peak is Mount Miligit at 2306 meters, about 6.3 kilometers in a west-southwest direction. The next larger town is Smithers , about 40 kilometers to the east. The Serb Creek , after which the officially nameless summit was named, rises about two kilometers further north on the slope of the Serb.
