The Serba Peak is a striking and 830 m high mountain on the Oates coast of the East Antarctic Victoria Land . In the Wilson Hills it rises up from a ridge along the northern flank of the Fergusson Glacier .
The United States Geological Survey mapped it based on its own surveys and aerial photographs of the United States Navy from 1960 to 1963. The Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names named it in 1970 after Lieutenant Edward W. Serba, navigator of an LC-130 Hercules for aerial photography in Operation Deep Freeze in 1967 and 1968.
