Sergei Dmitrijewitsch Borissow ( Russian Сергей Дмитриевич Борисов ; born October 18, 1985 in Moscow , Russian SFSR ) is a Russian ice hockey goalkeeper who was most recently under contract with Amur Khabarovsk in the Continental Hockey League .

Career

Sergei Borissow began his career as a hockey player in the youth department of the HK CSKA Moscow , for whose second team he was active from 2002 to 2006 in the Pervaya League , the third Russian division. In addition, the goalkeeper made his debut for the CSKA professional team in the Super League in the 2003/04 season . In two games he had a goalscoring average of 5.12. In the 2005/06 season he was allowed to play again in a game for ZSKA in the Super League. The Russian spent the 2006/07 season at Chimik-SKA Navapolazk in the Belarusian extra league . He then moved to his league rivals HK Dinamo Minsk , where he was able to convince with a goal against goal of only 1.89 in 43 games and a catch rate of 92.8%. He was then taken for the 2008/09 season by Amur Khabarovsk from the Continental Hockey League under contract, for which he has since been used regularly. In 2010 he moved to Severstal Tscherepowez within the KHL , but only came to one assignment there. During the season he moved to Rubin Tyumen in the Wysschaja Hockey League . With Rubin he won the 2011 second division championship. After this success, however, he did not receive a new contract with Rubin and finally found a new club in the second division with Jermak Angarsk .

In November 2011 he was given the opportunity to move to HK Spartak Moscow in the KHL, and took advantage of it. In the following two years he completed 58 KHL games for Spartak and was temporarily the club's first goalkeeper during the 2012/13 season. Nevertheless, he did not receive a contract extension in 2013, so he moved to Atlant Moskovskaya Oblast , where he was second goalkeeper behind Stanislav Galimov in the 2013-14 season. Then he returned to Amur Khabarovsk.
