Sergej Korobka (born February 13, 1975 ) is a former Ukrainian football player .

Career

Korobka began his professional career in the first Ukrainian football league at CSKA Kiev . He later played for DAC Dunajská Streda in the Slovak league . During the winter break of the 1997/98 season, the striker moved to the German second division club SG Wattenscheid 09 . He made his league debut on March 1, 1998 (20th match day) in the 0-1 defeat of SG 09 against KFC Uerdingen 05 . From 1997 to 1999 Korobka played a total of 32 games for the Wattenscheider in the 2nd Bundesliga and scored six goals. In the 1999/2000 season he played in the regional league for KFC Uerdingen 05 and returned to Wattenscheid in the summer of 2000. In autumn of the same year he joined the northern German league club BV Cloppenburg and in spring 2001 he signed a contract with 1. FC Bocholt in the Oberliga Nordrhein . Due to this double change within one season and the lack of a play permit , he was suspended and the club canceled two games. Korobka then left the club in the summer of 2001 with an unknown destination.
