Serghei Țvetcov ( Cyrillic Сергей Цветков ; born December 29, 1988 in Chișinău , Republic of Moldova ) is a Romanian cyclist

Career

Before he could sign his first professional contract, Serghei Țvetkov already attracted attention by winning the Moldovan championship in the individual time trial in 2007. At that time he started for the French club team EC Mayenne .

From 2008 Țvetkov drove for the Romanian Continental Team Olimpic Team Autoconstruct and has so far won the two one-day races Cupa Capitalei and Cupa Stirom in Romania, which, however, are not classified in a UCI category. He was also third in the Moldovan championships in the individual time trial. From January 1, 2014 he drove with a Romanian license and the following year he became two-time Romanian champion, in the individual time trial and in the road race.

In 2016 Serghei Țvetkov was nominated for the Olympic Games , but could not finish the street race. In 2017 he won the individual ranking of the UCI America Tour 2017 as a member of the Jelly Belly-Maxxis team . In 2018 he won the overall rankings of the Tour de Korea and the Tour of Romania .
