Sergio Assisi (born May 13, 1972 in Naples ) is an Italian film and theater actor .

Life

Assisi received a scholarship at the Theater Academy of the Teatro Bellini in Naples , which the theater director Tato Russo awards every three years. As of 2011, Assisi was in a relationship with actress Gabriella Pession .

After only a year at the academy, director Livio Galassi offered him a role in Moliere's comedy George Dandin . From then on he starred in a number of plays ranging from classic Neapolitan comedies ( Commedia dell'arte ) and classics of Greek comedy, to comedies by Goldoni and tragedies by Shakespeare , to contemporary works.

Assisi made his film debut in 1999 in Ferdinando e Carolina , in which he received a leading role. The first film that Assisi directed and also wrote the screenplay for was A Napoli non piove mai in 2015. In addition to several television and cinema films, Assisi was in the television series Capri from 2006 to 2010 and in Zodiaco - Il libro perduto in 2012 and the miniseries Il commissario Nardone .
