Sergio Bonelli alias Guido Nolitta (born December 2, 1932 in Milan , province of Milan , † September 26, 2011 in Monza , province of Monza and Brianza ) was an Italian comic author and publisher.

life and work

Bonelli, son of the comic book author and publisher Giovanni Luigi Bonelli , preferred to write his scripts under the pseudonym Guido Nolitta . He made his debut in 1958 with Un ragazzo nel Far West . For the comic Il Giudice Bean ( Roy Bean ) drawn by Sergio Tarquinio and written in 1960, Bonelli provided the texts. The western comic Zagor was created in 1961 in collaboration with the illustrator Gallieno Ferri . This was published in German under the title Rocky in 1964 and 1965 by Walter Lehning Verlag . Also in collaboration with Ferri, the comic series Mister No was created in 1975 , which was later continued by other cartoonists. In 1977 Bonelli wrote the text for the comic book L'Uomo del Texas drawn by Aurelio Galleppini .

As a publisher, Bonelli headed the Sergio Bonelli Editore publishing house for a long time. He published not only his own works, but also other series, such as Tex Willer , Martin Mystère and Dylan Dog .
