Sergiy Plyuta

Sergiy Plyuta ( Ukrainian Сергій Плюта / Serhij Pljuta; * 1978 in Ukraine ) is a professional dancer in the " Latin American dances " division, dance sport trainer and dance teacher .

Plyuta came to Berlin in 2001 after studying dance education at the International Slavic University in Kiev . From 2008 to 2011 he danced with Debbie Seefeldt. At first the couple danced as amateurs and started for the Club Saltatio Hamburg . From March 2010 the couple started with the professionals. There it occupied the divided 10./11. 1st place in the ranking of professionals in Latin dances (as of January 2011). In 2011, the couple retired from active professional dance to work as a dance trainer and teacher. Plyuta runs dance schools in Herne and Gelsenkirchen .

Plyuta took part in the 2011 aired fourth season of the dance show Let's Dance . He was Regina Halmich's dance partner . The couple dropped out on the first broadcast. Also in the fifth season Plyuta was there again, this time as the dance partner of the pop singer Stefanie Hertel . The couple reached third place. Even after the Let's Dance season ended, Sergiy Plyuta and Stefanie Hertel had joint dance performances, e.g. B. 2012 in the entertainment show " Always Sunday again " and 2013 in the "Swing Night" in Bergen.
