Melissa Ortiz-Gomez (born September 5, 1982 in Hamburg ) is a Spanish professional dancer in the " Latin American dances " division.

Melissa Ortiz-Gomez is the daughter of Spanish parents and grew up in Hamburg. She received ballet lessons as a child and began dancing flamenco . At the age of twelve, she started ballroom dancing in the fields of standard and Latin. After graduating from high school in 2001, she moved to Madrid and worked for four years as a dancer and dance director for the Spanish pop singer and former ESC participant David Civera . In the tournament area she was then with the Icelandic Gunnar Gunnarsson several Icelandic champions.

Melissa Ortiz-Gomez has been dancing with professionals since 2008, initially with Dennis Tischmacher, and from mid-2009 to early October 2011 with Jürgen Schlegel , with whom she took fifth place in the list of professionals in Latin dances in 2011. Melissa Ortiz-Gomez's new dance partner was Christian Polanc , with whom she was also privately linked until 2013.

Melissa Ortiz-Gomez took part in the third season of Let's Dance in 2010 , in which she danced with Raúl Richter and took fourth place. The next year she reached second place in the RTL dance show with Moritz A. Sachs . Her partner in the fifth season of Let's Dance was the actor Patrick Bach , with whom she left in the third episode. In the following year Ortiz-Gomez danced with Manuel Cortez and won with him in the final against Sıla Şahin and Christian Polanc.

On December 8, 2013, she was a candidate for Celebrity Shopping Queen and took third place. In the 71st Traumschiff episode ("Perth") broadcast on January 1, 2014 , she appeared together with Polanc as a guest actress.
