Serhij Volodymyrowytsch Kravchuk ( Ukrainian Сергій Володимирович Кравчук ; born June 3, 1964 in Kiev , Ukrainian SSR ) is a former Soviet sword fencer .
successes
Serhiy Kravchuk was world champion with the team in Lausanne in 1987 and in Budapest in 1991 . With her he had already won bronze in Barcelona in 1985 and silver in Sofia in 1986 . At the 1992 Olympic Games in Barcelona he was part of the delegation of the United Team , with whose team he reached the semi-finals. There the team of the United Team Germany lost 7: 8. The subsequent battle for third place was won against France after an 8: 8 draw due to the better hit balance , so that Kravchuk received the bronze medal together with Pawel Kolobkow , Sergei Kostarew , Andrei Shuvalov and Valeri Sakharevich . He finished the individual competition in twelfth place.
