The nuraghe on the eastern edge of the village is surrounded by five towers and is an impressive mound of rubble with an overview of the maquis and the ruins of the village. The first excavations took place in 1913 by Antonio Taramelli (1868–1939). The village continued to be excavated from 1988. The excavation findings indicate that the five huts were dated to the 13th / 12th centuries. Century BC Near. Iron Age "geometric ware" (Ceramica geometrica) from the 9th / 5th centuries. Century BC Chr. Is missing.

On the southern edge, somewhat separated from the rest of the settlement, lies the base of a large round hut “Sala del Gran Consiglio” made of trachyte , which perhaps served as a meeting room. The pedestal in the interior shows the importance of the rotunda. Round hut B is divided by a wall, a rarity in Nuragic architecture . Hut C has an inner diameter of four meters. The curtain wall is tilted inwards. In the inner wall there is a small niche near the door and a group of three niches in the wall where baityloi were found.

A giant tomb is located near the nuraghe. It is about 11.0 m long, 2.8 m wide and 1.20 m high, while the exedra is about 12.5 m wide. Ceiling panels are missing.
