Servet-i Fünûn

Servet-i Fünûn ( Ottoman ثَروَتِ فُنون Servet-i Fünûn , İA S ervet-i Fünūn , German ' Reichtum der Geisteswissenschaften' ) was an avant-garde specialist journal published in Turkey between 1891 and 1944 . It was written by Halid Ziya and other authors of the Ottoman-Turkish literary movement of the same name (alternatively alsoادَبِيّاتِ جَديدَه Edebiyat-ı Cedîde ) to inform readers about European, especially French, cultural and intellectual movements. The initially scientific and technical magazine developed over time into the leading Turkish literary magazine after Tevfik Fikret became the magazine's editor in 1896 and made it an art and literary magazine.
