Serzedo is a place and a former municipality ( freguesia ) in northern Portugal .
Serzedo belongs to the Guimarães county in the Braga district . The community had an area of 2.5 km² and 1194 inhabitants (as of June 30, 2011). The community is predominantly urban.
On September 29, 2013, the municipalities of Serzedo and Calvos were merged to form the new municipality of União das Freguesias de Serzedo e Calvos .
