Shō Shimoji ( Japanese 下地 奨 , Shimoji Shō ; born August 2, 1985 in Okinawa Prefecture ) is a Japanese football player .
Career
Shō Shimoji learned to play football in the youth of Tokyo Verdy and in the university team of Aoyama Gakuin University . He signed his first contract in 2008 with Sagan Tosu , a club that played in the J2 League . After his contract ended in 2010, he was temporarily without a club. On April 1, 2011, he signed a contract in Paraguay with Sportivo Luqueño , where he played for three months. In July 2011 he moved to Brazil , where he played for CA Linense and EC Águia Negra . He moved to Thailand in 2013. He signed a two-year contract with the first division club BEC Tero Sasana FC in Bangkok . Here he played 51 games and scored 24 goals. In 2015, Police United , also a club based in Bangkok, signed a contract with the second division . After just one year, he went to first division club Chainat Hornbill FC in 2016 . After the contract ended at the end of the season, he was without a club until mid-2017. In June 2017, the third division Udon Thani FC signed him for the return series. With the club he became runner-up and thus rose to the second division. After the promotion, his contract ended and he was again without a club until mid-2018. In June 2018 he signed another contract with Udon Thani FC. After the end of the 2019 season, his contract was not renewed.
