Shabkar Tshogdrug Rangdröl ( Tib. Zhabs dkar tshogs drug rang grol ; born in 1781 ; b. 1851 ) from among gong Reb , Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture Rma LHO was a Tibetan Buddhist monk scholar and author of Nyingma -Schule in Amdo . His autobiography ( zhabs dkar pa'i rnam thar ), which is considered one of the classics of Tibetan literature, was translated into English and also into German (2011) under the title "The Life of Shabkar - Autobiography of a Tibetan Yogi".

He created hundreds of spiritual songs ( mgur glu ; 'songs of spiritual realization'). He is the author of 25 books.

His collected works ( zhabs dkar pa'i mgur 'bum ) have been published in a modern edition by mtsho sngon mi rigs dpe skrun khang in Xining , Qinghai .
