The Shaigiri is a mountain in western Himalayas in Pakistan's special territory Gilgit-Baltistan .
The 6290 m (according to other sources 6245 m ) high mountain is located in the south of the Nanga Parbat group . The Nanga Parbat is located 15.84 km north-northeast of the Shaigiri. The Southern Shaigirigletscher flows along the northern flank of the mountain the Rupalgletscher to. In the south is the Chuchuel Glacier and beyond it the 5860 m high Chiche Peak . 2.92 km north-northwest of Shaigiri rises the 5971 m high Schlagintweit Peak .
The first ascent of Shaigiri most likely took place in 1988 from the north side by Canadians Barry Blanchard, Kevin Doyle and Ward Robinson.
