action
Ann Lester, a young orphan, is a model girl who, among other things, tries to fund her brother's college education. The vile drug dealer Markey mesmerizes her in such a way that she feels the need for marijuana, so that she immediately tries the devil drug at a party and can no longer stop using it.
Under the influence of marijuana all moral dams break with Ann and she gives herself unrestrainedly to many lovers and in the further course also loses her job, so that she has to sell drugs for the drug-damaged Markey. When her brother finds out about his sister's way of life, he sees, logically correct, the only way out in his suicide and hangs himself in order not to have to live with the shame that his sister brings a devil drug like marijuana to the people.
Unsurprisingly, Ann is arrested and taken to various psychiatric hospitals and prisons. After 50 days in prison, she is finally released on condition that she extradite the dealer Markey to the authorities.
