Sheohar is a city in the Indian state of Bihar .
The city is the administrative seat of the district of the same name . Sheohar is 107 km southeast of Patna . Sheohar has the status of a City Council ( Nagar panchayat ). The city is divided into 15 wards . The Sheohar Nagar Panchayat had 28,116 inhabitants on the cut-off date of the 2011 census, of which 14,881 were men and 13,235 women.
