The Shilla is a 6132  m (according to other sources 6111 m) high secondary peak of the Lhakang in the Indian state of Himachal Pradesh in the western Himalayas .

The summit is located 24 km north-northeast of Kaza , the main town in the hospital , in the districts of Lahaul and Spiti . The Shilla is located on the east side of the Shilla Nala river valley at its upper end. The slightly higher Lhakang (6250 m) is just 3.27 km further north. Due to a notch height of 400 m, the Shilla is not considered a separate mountain.

The Shilla gained fame in 1860 due to an incorrect measurement of its height, with a height of 7092 m it would have been the highest mountain in Himachal Pradesh.
