The Shillong Lajong FC is an Indian football club from Shillong in the state of Meghalaya .

The club was founded in 1983 and has been playing in the I-League , India's top division , since 2012 . The club's coach has been Bobby Lyngdoh Nongbet since July 2017 . 2017/18 the season was finished in 6th place. The most famous current player is the Gambian professional Saihou Jagne .

He also plays in the city's Shillong Premier League and has won this city championship three times so far.

In the national cup they could reach the final in 2010, but lost to the East Bengal Club with 1: 2.
