Shingo Tomita ( Japanese 富田 晋 伍 , Tomita Shingo ; born June 20, 1986 in Ōhira , Tochigi Prefecture ) is a Japanese football player .
Career
Shingo Tomita learned to play football in the youth teams of FC Ohira , the Verdy Soccer School Oyama and Tokyo Verdy . He signed his first professional contract with Vegalta Sendai in 2005 . The Sendai club played in the country's second highest league, the J2 League . In 2009 he became champions with the club and rose to the top division . In 2012 he was runner-up with Sendai. He was in the final of the Imperial Cup in 2018. The final was lost 1-0 to the first division club Urawa Red Diamonds .
