Shinji Fujiyoshi ( Japanese 藤 吉 信 次 , Fujiyoshi Shinji ; born April 3, 1970 in Tokyo Prefecture ) is a former Japanese football player .

Career

Fujiyoshi learned to play soccer on the Yomiuri youth team . He signed his first contract with Yomiuri in 1989 . The club played in the highest league in the country, the Japan Soccer League . With the club he became Japanese champions in 1990/91 and 1991/92 . With the founding of the professional league J.League in 1992 and the associated reorganization of Japanese football, the Yomiuri became Verdy Kawasaki . With the club he became Japanese champions in 1993 and 1994 . For the club he completed 65 first division games. In July 1996, he moved to league rivals Kyoto Purple Sanga . For the club he completed 65 first division games. In 2000 he moved to the second division club Vegalta Sendai . In 2001 he was runner-up in the J2 League with the club and was promoted to the J1 League . For the club he completed 79 games. He then played for Chengdu Five Bulls , FC Ryukyu and New Wave Kitakyushu . At the end of 2009 he ended his career as a football player.
