Shinji Makino ( Japanese 牧野 真 二 , Makino Shinji ; born May 29, 1976 in Fukuoka Prefecture ) is a former Japanese football player .

Career

Soccer

Makino learned to play soccer on the school team at Tokai University Daigo High School . He signed his first contract in 1995 with the Yokohama Marinos from the country's highest league, the J1 League . He then signed in 1998 with Sagan Tosu from the second highest division, the Japan Football League . In 1999 he rose with the club in the J2 League . For the club he completed 12 games. In 1999 he ended his playing career.

Beach soccer

With the Japanese national team he qualified for the Beach Soccer World Cup in 2005 , 2006 , 2008 , 2009 , 2011 , 2013 and 2015 .
