Shinnosuke Takahashi

Shinnosuke Takahashi ( Japanese 高橋 信 之 介 , Takahashi Shinnosuke ; * 1978 in Kanagawa Prefecture ) is a Japanese jazz musician (drums).

From the early 2000s Takahashi worked in Japan a. a. with Shūji Atsuta and Miyanoue Yoshiaki ( Sweet and Lovely , 2000), Yoshiki Uta ( Touch! ), Ayako Shirasaki ( Musically Yours ), in the following decade also with Makoto Ozone ( Jungle - Featuring No Name Horses ). In the United States he played with Don Friedman , Jon Davis, Eric Person and with Marcus Printup , on whose albums Peace in the Abstract and Bird of Paradise: The Music of Charlie Parker he can be heard. In 2011 he made his debut album Blues 4 Us - Live at Pit Inn , on which Atsushi Ikeda (alto saxophone), Yosuke Yamashita (piano) and Kengo Nakamura (double bass) played. In the field of jazz he was involved in 16 recording sessions between 2000 and 2014.
