Shinobu Ōno ( Japanese 大野 忍 , Ōno Shinobu ; born January 23, 1984 in Zama , Kanagawa Prefecture ) is a Japanese national soccer player .

Career

societies

Ōno played for the club NTV Beleza since 1999 , in 2011 she moved to INAC Kobe Leonessa . During the winter break, she signed the French Champions League defending champion Olympique Lyon , for whom she played from January 2013. She then moved to England to Arsenal LFC for the 2014 season and then returned to her home country.

National team

Ōno debuted for the senior national team on January 12, 2003, compared to the United States in San Diego . Her first goals for Japan came against Thailand on March 19, 2003 . She took both the 2007 World Championships and at the World Cup in 2011 in part; in all six games (including the final) she was used and scored a goal in the group game against Mexico . She also took part in the 2008 Beijing Olympics.

On March 5, 2012, she made her 100th international match at the Algarve Cup against the USA .

Ōno was in the squad for the 2012 Olympics . It was used in five out of six games, including a. in the final, lost 1: 2 against the USA , and won the silver medal with their team. In the quarter-finals against Brazil, she scored the goal to make it 2-0.

In 2015 she was part of the squad for the World Cup in Canada. She was used in all seven games, where she was six times in the starting line-up, but was substituted in the second half, with Mana Iwabuchi always coming on for her in the final round . A goal was not granted to her.

At the qualifying tournament for the 2016 Olympic Games in Osaka , however, she and her team failed to Australia and China , so that Japan could not qualify for the Olympic Games. But she was only used in the opening game, lost 3-1 to Australia, and in the 6-1 win against Vietnam , in which she scored her 40th international goal.
