The Ship Cone is a conical mountain in East Antarctic Victoria Land . In the Allan Hills, it rises one mile south of Townrow Peak out of Tilman Ridge .
It was explored in 1964 by a team working in the Allan Hills as part of the New Zealand Antarctic Research Program . This named him after a corresponding mountain peak in the New Zealand Hokonui Hills .
