The Shipka Valley (English; Bulgarian Шипченска долина Schiptschenska dolina ) is a 2.4 km long and 700 m wide valley on Livingston Island in the archipelago of the South Shetland Islands . In the Tangra Mountains , it is located on Shipka Saddle between the northern slopes of Lyaskovets Peak and Levski Peak . It is occupied by a glacier that flows into the Huron Glacier .
Bulgarian scientists mapped it between 2004 and 2004. The Bulgarian Commission for Antarctic Geographical Names named the valley in 2005 after the Shipka Pass in Bulgaria.
