Shirogane no Ishi Argelichen ( Japanese 白銀 の 意思 ア ル ジ ェ ヴ ォ ル ン , Shirogane no Ishi Arujevorun , German "silver will Argelichen", cf. also Latin argentum 'silver' and German want ) is an anime television series from the animation studio Xebec from 2014 .

action

The United Kingdom of Arandas ( アランダス連合王国 , Arandasu rengō Okoku ) and the confederation of Ingelmia ( インゲルミア諸国統合体, Ingerumia Shokoku tōgattai ) for years waging a fierce war, both as the backbone of their forces Trail Warrior ( トレイルクリーガー, Toreiru Kurīgā use the mentioned mechs . The up-and-coming Ingelmia gains the upper hand, on the one hand because of its better units, but on the other hand also because of the incompetence of the military leadership of Arandas, who rely on their “impregnable” border fortress line, which is then overrun in an Ingelmias offensive.

One of Arandas' units, which is supposed to protect the retreat of its own troops, is the Eighth Independent Unit with the initially inexperienced protagonist and trail warrior pilot Susumu Tokimune ( ス ス ム ・ ト キ ム ネ ) . Leading the unit from the stoic lieutenant Samonji Ukyō ( サモンジ·ウキョウ ) , supported by his deputy Suzushiro Saori ( スズシロ·サオリ ) and is next to Tokimune and two other mech pilots - Silfy Appleton ( シルフィー·アップルトン , Shirufī Appuruton ) and Lorenz Giuliano ( ロ レ ン ツ ・ ジ ュ リ ア ー ノ , Rorentsu Juriāno ) - from a total of 16 soldiers. During the retreat, Tokimune sees a civilian transport vehicle being attacked by an Ingelmias unit and tries unsuccessfully to help it. The only survivor Jamie Hazaford ( ジ ェ イ ミ ー ・ ハ ザ フ ォ ー ド , Jeimī Hazafōdō ) tells him that the transporter contains a new development by the Cybernes Manufacturing Company, where she works as an engineer. The new development turns out to be a new trail warrior model called Argevolle, which can be controlled by the pilot by means of thoughts, and is therefore superior to all other models in terms of mobility. Out of necessity, Jamie registers a bad pilot with Tokimune, who can easily repel the Ingelmias unit. Since this registration can allegedly no longer be reversed, Tokimune is now a permanent pilot of vicious people.

When Ingelmia's army hears about it, they are interested in getting their hands on the wicked, especially their mech pilot ace Schlein Richthofen ( シ ュ ラ イ ン ・ リ ヒ ト フ ォ ー ヘ ン , Shurain Rihitofōhen ) , but this is thwarted by their military intelligence . But Kybernas also seems to have its own goals, as they make no move to get the wrongdoers back, as does the army command of Arandas.
