action

When Henry, a writer and blogger , can no longer pay his rent, he is forced to move back in with his father, which creates new problems in their father-son relationship.

production

In November 2009, CBS announced that a pilot episode based on a Twitter feed was in production. The episode was written by Justin Halpern and Patrick Schumacker. In February, the lead role was cast with William Shatner , after which the green light was given for the production of a pilot episode. Nicole Sullivan and Ryan Devlin joined the cast in early March . With Will Sasso as Vince and Stephanie Lemelin as Sam, the cast was complete.

In May 2010, the concept was sent into series, with the news that the role of Henry (played by Ryan Devlin in the pilot episode) would be re-cast. In July 2010, the role was cast with Jonathan Sadowski . The character of Sam (Stephanie Lemelin) was written from the series and did not appear in either the aired pilot or any other episode.
