Shona Fraser
Shona Kathryn Fraser (born July 9, 1975 in Newcastle ) is a British music journalist . In Germany she became known through her work as a juror on the casting show Deutschland sucht den Superstar .
Career
In 1993, Fraser joined an English student radio as a music presenter . She started to study French and German at the University of Leeds and finished her studies in 1997.
This was followed by moderation duties for English, French and German television and radio programs , including working for the British BBC and the music channel MTV . Since 1998 Fraser has also been working for various German radio stations in Cologne . From 1999 to 2002 Fraser had a column on WDR 5 called What's up Shona . Fraser then completed a postgraduate degree in broadcast journalism.
From 2002 to 2004 she was a member of the jury for the first and second season of the casting show Deutschland sucht den Superstar .
Today Fraser works as a freelance television director and has realized episodes of the television shows Big in America , Die Super Nanny ( RTL ), Mission Hollywood ( RTL ), Frauentausch ( RTL II ), and Popstars ( ProSieben ); In the late summer of 2007 she was responsible for the production of the ProSieben program Survivor .
Since November 1, 2015, she has been Head of Entertainment & Development at RTL II.
