providers

Shopping apps are a form of mobile shopping and are made available by many online shops , mail order companies and service providers , such as Amazon , Buch.de , Cineplex , Deutsche Bahn , Douglas , Ebay , Mango , Otto , Sportscheck , Thalia.de or United Cinemas International .

Interested providers can get help and recommendations for the design and user guidance of shopping apps from manufacturers of operating systems for mobile devices.

hazards

Shopping apps that are manipulated by fraudsters and designed to be deceptively real are used to steal access names and passwords for online shopping sites, to steal credit card data and to shop through financial service providers for the account of the cheated. Shopping apps that are programmed for devices with the Android operating system are particularly at risk, as the apps offered in the corresponding app stores are not systematically checked for malware .
