Shorty is a crater on Earth's moon, it is a likely volcanic crater in the Taurus - Littrow valley. The two astronauts Eugene Cernan and Harrison Schmitt visited him in 1972 as part of the Apollo 17 mission. It is the location of the famous orange floor .
