Show me - Glamor is back was a revue that could be seen from October 2012 to July 2014 in the Friedrichstadt-Palast in Berlin and is the follow-up show of Yma - too good to be true .

The organizers of the show wanted to show how the revue organizers from the 1900s to 1960s, such as Busby Berkeley , Esther Williams and Florenz Ziegfeld junior , would design a contemporary show today.

By the end of June 2014, over 700,000 guests had attended Show me. The show achieved an occupancy rate of over 90% in the first half of 2013.

production

Until 2014, Show me was the most expensive production of the house with a production budget of over nine million euros. As with the previous shows Qi and Yma , the producer was again the director Berndt Schmidt . With over 162 participants, over 100 of whom were on stage, it was the largest ensuite show in the world.

The approximately 500 costumes for the show were designed by Christian Lacroix , Uta Loher and Conny Lüders. Among other things, the well-known choreographer Nikeata Thompson was hired for the show.

The first row of the seating was dismantled especially for this show. A total of 36 stage seats were created for this, which meant that guests could sit “right in the middle” for the first time.

Show me celebrated its world premiere on October 18, 2012 , with preview performances from October 2, 2012 . Like the previous shows, Show me ran for around two years and celebrated Dernière on July 19, 2014 .

After Show me, The Wyld has been on view since October 2014 .
