Security Brigade 203 (Wehrmacht)
The backup brigade 203 was a German infantry brigade of the Army in World War II of Army Group Center .
Brigade history
Replacement Brigade 203
The replacement brigade 203 (also brigade 203 ) was established in Potsdam , military district III. , set up in the course of the 16th wave of installation . It was assigned to the General Government as an occupying force. In late 1941 the staff were from Kielce from the Army Group Center subordinated to and after Russia moved to the rear army area. In December 1941, the name was changed to Security Brigade 203.
Backup Brigade 203
During the formation, the brigade was assigned several state rifle battalions. As early as June 1, 1942, the brigade 's staff was renamed the 203rd Security Division .
