Sick of Society is a punk band founded in 1989 from near Ulm .

history

The band was founded in 1989 as Wicked Power and renamed the Sick of Society in 1993. For a long time, the core of the band were singer / guitarist Fizzi and drummer Oliver. From the mid-2000s the band was on tour as a trio with bassist Steini. While the band's music also contained metal and hardcore elements in the early phase, punk rock was in the foreground from this time at the latest.

With the CD Never Like the Rest , released by SN-Punx in 2012 , the band switched to German-language texts. The band appeared in the following years as support for bands like Sick of It All , Third Choice or The Casualties . In 2014, founding member Fizzi had to leave the band for health reasons. Chris and Falko joined the band as new guitarists, bassist Steini took over the lead vocals from then on.

In 2016 the band toured Indonesia. The album Perlen vor die Säue was released in 2018 by Rough & Raw / Calygram.
